Actor Arya has not had a single release this year with his last venture being the comedy entertainer Ghajinikanth directed by Santhosh, in which he shared the screen space with his then future wife Sayyeshaa. The venture did not fair commercially as expected. But the actor has moved on to his next projects and is confident that he will be back to the winning ways soon. The actor is currently gearing up for the release of his next action crime thriller titled as Magamuni which is helmed by director Santha Kumar of Mouna guru fame. The production unit had unveiled the teaser of the flick on internet a couple of months back. Now, the team has shared a sneak peek from the film on social media which is trending and is sure to get the audience interested on the project.
The few seconds cut leaves us dumbstruck and has a great impact in creating a mindset to catch the venture in theaters. The sneak peek of Magamuni has really accomplished the work of a sneak peek which rarely any sneak peeks of Tamil movies do. Actor Arya seems to have landed in a meaty role to prove his acting prowess once again after a long time. The teaser of Magamuni which had Arya in the role of an intimidating hit man fuming triggered out of pain and loss had already upped the expectations of the audience which is further upped by the sneak peek of the project. The actor is said to have essayed a role unlike any of the roles that he has depicted in his entire career. The action crime drama which is slated to hit the screens on 6th of September for sure is going to be a feast for the fans of the actor who are waiting patiently for their favorite star to deliver a solid hit under his name.
The motion picture is produced by K. E. Gnanavel Raja under the banner Studio Green. The music for the intense drama has been composed by S. Thaman. Cinematographer Arun Bathmanaban has cranked the camera for the flick, while editor V. J. Sabu Joseph has trimmed the flick. Apart from actor Arya, the movie has actresses Indhuja Ravichandran and Mahima Nambiar in the female lead roles, while actors Kaali Venkat, Jayaprakash, Aruldoss, and G. M. Sundar have essayed various other important roles.
On the professional front, actor Arya is gearing up for the release of his multi starrer film Kaappaan directed by K. V. Anand. Besides this entertainer the actor has Teddy set to be directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan of Miruthan fame, in which he will co star with his wife Sayyeshaa once again. Apart from this film, the actor also has Santhana Devan and 3 Dev in his kitty.
