The Kasthuri Raja brothers are back. It is a known fact that actor Dhanush and Selvaraghavan have come together yet again for their upcoming work Naane Varuven. After delivering an impressive performance in Saani Kaayidham, director Selvaraghavan has returned to direction. Also, he himself has played a vital part in the movie. Actress Indhuja Ravichandran will be seen in the female lead role in the flick. The entertainer which went on floors a couple of months ago with a small pooja ceremony, was shot in and around the zone of Ooty. The drama went into post production earlier this month. We had also reported the news. Now, the production house has unveiled the teaser of the entertainer.
Actor Dhanush himself has shared the teaser on social media. Taking to his official twitter account, the actor shared a poster from the drama along with the teaser, and wrote, ‘Here we go! Naane Varuven teaser.’ Here is the post made by the actor.

The one minute 41 seconds teaser opens in a forest where we witness actor Dhanush in a never seen avatar – in a rogue look with long hair. We are then introduced to another character (also played by Dhanush), who seems like a civil being leading a normal life. The teaser ends with the rogue character holding the neck of the normal character. The teaser has no dialogues, and is in the typical Selvaraghavan-esque style. The teaser was screened in a few selective theaters for the fans of the actor who flocked to the theaters in numbers to watch the teaser on the big screen.
Actor Dhanush has penned the story of Naane Varuven. The story is said to be based on the déjà vu effect that happens between twin brothers with contrasting principles in life and how it influences their lives. The first look poster of Naane Varuven had a great reception among the audience. One can be certain that the teaser will further surge the expectations on the film. In addition to that, Naane Varuven is the fifth time the Kasthuri Raja brothers are teaming up for a movie after Thulluvadho Ilamai, Kaadhal Kondein, Pudhupettai, and Mayakkam Enna. Every time the duo comes together, they lit the stage on fire. The same can be expected even this time around.
Apart from actors Dhanush, Selvaraghavan, and Indhuja Ravichandran, Naane Varuven has actors Prabhu Ganesan, Yogi Babu, Shelly Kishore, Aajeedh Khalique, Saravana Subbiah, and Elli AvrRam playing various other supporting roles. The magical combo Selvaraghavan and Yuvan Shankar Raja have once again collaborated for a film nearly after a decade. Cinematographer OM Prakash has been behind the lens for the movie. Editor Bhuvan Srinivasan has been bestowed with the responsibility to edit the flick. The venture is produced by Kalaippuli S. Thanu under his home banner V Creations.
On the work front, actor Dhanush who had a last outing in the romedy drama Thiruchitrambalam is getting ready for the release of his upcoming venture titled Vaathi directed by story teller Venky Atluri in which he has shared the screen space with actress Samyuktha Menon. The Velai Illa Pattathari actor will soon begin to shoot for his next project titled Captain Miller under the directorial of film maker Arun Matheswaran, and for a venture that is tentatively christened D 46 which is set to be helmed by director Sekhar Kammula.
