Prabhu Deva is regarded as an epitome of different talents as he began his career as a dancer and progressed into acting and then into direction. He was last seen in Kollywood with his romantic comedy film ‘Charlie Chaplin 2’, which was a sequel to his ‘Charlie Chaplin’ film.
Now the latest news about him is that the teaser of his upcoming flick ‘Pon Manickavel’ is out. Prabhu Deva plays the character of a strict and honest police officer. The film is directed by AC Mugil Chellappan and bankrolled by Hitesh Jhabak and Nemichand Jhabak under the banner Jhabak Movies. The film features Nivetha Pethuraj as the female lead and also stars Suresh Menon and J Mahendran.
The music is composed by D. Imman and KG Venkatesh of ‘Sathuranga Vettai’ fame cranks the camera for the film. T Shivanandeeswaran of ‘Theeran Adhigaram Ondru’ fame is the editor for the movie.
Though Prabhu Deva’s films are not doing well at the box, he has signed many films in Tamil film industry this year. On the movie front, he is all geared up to direct Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg 3’ in Bollywood. Also, he has ‘Yun Mung Sung’, ‘Oomai Vizhikal’, and ‘Devi 2’ in the kitty.
