Actor Santhanam who had a good last outing with the sequel of his hit horror comedy Dhilukku Dhuddu, is gearing up for the release of his next mass action entertainer A1: Accused No. 1. The flick’s satellite rights, was recently bagged by Sun Network for a whooping price of 4.6 crores. The posters as well as the teaser of the film that hit the social media on Tamil New Year have enjoyed a good response from the audience and have upped the anticipation level of the venture. There were some toughly choreographed stunt sequences in the teaser as an indicator that the film will be high on action as well.

Now, the production unit has publicized the release date of the venture. Actor Santhanam himself has shared the release date on social media. Taking to his twitter account the actor shared a poster from the movie and wrote, ‘July 26th is the date A1: Accused No. 1 is coming to entertain you.’ This surely is a great news not only for the fans of the actor but also for people who love to treat themselves to a comical riot. Directed by the title winner of Naalaya Iyakkunar K Johnson the project is said to have a lot of comical relief diluted with a perfect blend of social message. According to sources it will not just be an out and out comedy entertainer. The flick is set at the backdrop of North Madras and actor Santhanam is set to essay the role of a youngster hailing from that part of the city, while female lead Tara Alisha Berry will depict the role of a girl hailing from agraharam.
Apart from actor Santhanam and Tara Alisha Berry, the cast of the comedy entertainer has Lollu Sabha Manohar, Yatin Karyekar, Saikumar, M. S. Bhaskar, Mottai Rajendran, and Swaminathan in various other important roles. The musical instruments for the entertainer will be handled by sensational music director Santhosh Narayanan. Gopi Jagadeeswaran has cranked the camera for the film, while Leo John Paul has edited the comedy entertainer. The motion picture is funded by S. Raj Narayanan under the banner CircleBox Entertainments. We will have to wait to see what kind of response the actor garners from the audience as the anticipation for the flick is quite high.
On the work front, actor Santhanam is one of the busy artists in the K town with multiple assignments in his pipeline. The actor who is currently gearing up for the release of his comical action project A1: Accused No. 1 is busy shooting for an untitled drama directed by Kannan of Ivan Thanthiran fame. Besides this project the actor has Dagaalty under the directorial of film maker Vijay Anand, in which he will be sharing the screen space with comedian Yogi Babu. Apart from these flicks the actor has Server Sundaram which is touted to be directed by Anand Balki in the shelves for a long time now. The movie is titled after legendary actor Nagesh’s silver jubilee hit film with the same name.
