KGF Chapter 2: Gets Extra Shows In Tamil Nadu!

Actor Vijay’s much awaited drama Beast hit the screens on 13th of April under the direction of Nelson Dilipkumar. While the entertainer has opened up to mixed reviews, the fans of the actor have been celebrating the flick. Tamil Nadu’s theater association head Tirupur Subramaniam had declared the movie to be a commercial hit. Actor Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2 reached the theaters a day later after the release of Beast. Before the release of both the entertainers there was a lot of discussion over both the entertainers going head to head against each other. But the dramas saw the daylight as planned. Now we have an interesting update on the clash of the Titans. 

There is news that actor Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2 is gaining additional shows in the state. It is said that the venture has bagged 350 plus extra shows in the state. The reason for the sudden increase in shows is said to be due to the reception it has been enjoying among the audience. Theater owners are having a difficult time trying to cash in on both the films as Beast is also going solid. So, they have come up with a plan to add extra shows by opting for midnight and early morning screening. 

Apart from actor Vijay Beast has actress Pooja Hegde essaying the female lead. Storyteller Selvaraghavan has played a key role in the flick. The film has an ensemble cast that includes Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Shine Tom Chacko, John Vijay, Shaji Chen, VTV Ganesh, Aparna Das, Lilliput Faruqui, Ankur Ajit Vikal, Sathish Krishnan, Bjorn Surrao, Sunil Reddy, Shiva Arvind, Sujatha Babu, Smruthi, Janani Durga, Madhuri Watts, and Hasini Pavithra. Cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa has cranked the camera for the film. Editor R. Nirmal will be taking care of the editing department. The entertainer is bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran under the banner house Sun Pictures. 

Director Prashanth Neel has helmed KGF Chapter 2. Apart from actor Yash, the film has actress Srinidhi Shetty essaying the female lead. The film has an ensemble cast that includes Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Anant Nag, Ashok Sharma, Prakash Raj, Archana Jois, Ramesh Indira, Ramachandra Raju, Vinay Bidappa, Achyuth Kumar, Malavika Avinash, Rao Ramesh, B. S. Avinash, Vasishta N. Simha, B. Suresha, Eswari Rao, T. S. Nagabharana, Saran Shakthi, Appaji Ambarisha Darbha, Lakki Lakshman, Ayyappa P. Sharma, John Kokken, Govinde Gowda, Harish Rai, Tarak Ponnappa, Dinesh Mangaluru, Balakrishna, T. N. Srinivas, Mohan Juneja, Roopa Rayappa, Nagarjun, Rajesh Rao, Krishnappa, Dashavara Chandru, and Divya G Gowda. The cinematography department has been handled by cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda. Editor Ujwal Kulkarni has trimmed the drama. The entertainer is funded by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner house Hombale Films. 

On the work front, actor Vijay who is currently basking on the success of Beast will soon begin shooting for his next untitled project which is set to be helmed by story teller Vamshi Paidipally in which he will be romancing actress Rashmika Mandanna. On the other hand, actor Yash is busy shooting for his part in the Prabhas starrer Salaar. Following which the actor will begin shooting for KGF: Chapter 3.
