Actor Jai had his last outing in the romedy film Coffee With Kadhal which hit the screens under the directorial of Sundar C with actors Jiiva, Malvika Sharma, and Amritha Aiyer in the lead roles. Unfortunately, the project did not live up to the expectations of the audience. Despite that, it enjoyed a decent commercial success. The actor has now put that behind him and is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie titled Theera Kaadhal. Story teller Robin Venkatesan who had previously directed Adhe Kangal and Petromax has helmed the entertainer. He has worked on the script along with writer G R Surendarnath. The venture which went on floors with a small pooja ceremony, is now in the post production stage getting refined for release.
Now, the production house has unveiled the first single track from the entertainer on social media. Taking to their official twitter handle, the production house dropped a poster from the drama along with a link to the first single of Theera Kaadhal, and wrote, “Presenting the first single from Theera Kaadhal ‘Usuraankootil.’ Listen to the breezy number & enjoy! Lyricist Mohan Rajan has penned lyrics for the song. Singer Sathya Prakash has crooned the number. Earlier speaking about the film, story teller Robin Venkatesan said, “Theera Kaadhal is a relationship drama. It explores the relationship between three characters. I think it will be very relatable to a broad set of audience. People looking to mingle, people in relationships, people who have broken up, and people who have moved on from relationships.” Talking about how the flick happened, he stated, “The idea of Theera Kaadhal evolved from a short story. I and Surendarnath were working on a short story of sorts. The beginning moment of the story got us very excited. So, we gradually developed that part into a feature film script.”
Besides actor Jai, Theera Kaadhal has actresses Aishwarya Rajesh, and Sshivada essaying female lead roles. The casting division of the drama has actors Vridhhi Vishal, Amzath Khan, and Abdool Lee in various other supporting roles. Music director Siddhu Kumar of Bachelor fame has handled musical instruments for the drama. Cinematographer Ravi Varman Neelamagam has cranked cameras for the venture. Editor Prasanna G K has been roped in to edit the flick. Art director Ramu Thangaraj has designed the background for the movie. Stunt master Don Ashok has choreographed action moves for the film. The project is funded by Allirajah Subashkaran under the production company Lyca Production.
On the work front, actor Jai who was last seen on screens in Coffee With Kaadhal is currently busy shooting for a number of untitled movies under the direction of Gopi Nainar, Atlee, Suseenthiran, and Ramkumar Loganathan. Apart from these projects, the actor has Breaking News helmed by storyteller Andrew Pandian in which he has romanced actress Bhanu Sree, and Khakhee directed by A Senthil Kumar in which he has shared screen space with actor Vijay Antony in various stages of post-production getting fine tuned for release. Actress Sshivada who was last seen on screens in Tamil in Vallavanukkum Vallavan is currently busy shooting for Kattam crafted by director Rajan Madhav, and for Iravaakaalam filmed by Ashwin Saravanan in which she will be seen alongside actor S J Suryah.
On the other hand, actress Aishwarya Rajesh who had her last outing in Tamil in Run Baby Run is currently getting ready for the release of her upcoming venture titled Mohandas scripted by Mazhar Kamran in which she has associated with actor Vishnu Vishal. The Kaaka Muttai actress is currently busy shooting for her next Tamil movie christened Manik helmed by Samrat Chakraborty in which she will be associating with actress Samyuktha Shanmuganathan, for Theeyavar Kulaigal Nadunga under the direction of Dinesh Lakshmanan in which she will be sharing screen space with actor Arjun Sarja, and for three of her Malayalam projects titled Pulimada filmed by director A. K.
