Actor Arun Vijay was last seen on screens in the crime thriller film Sinam which hit the theaters under the directorial of G N R Kumaravelan with actress Palak Lalwani as female lead. The entertainer opened to mixed reviews. Thus, it fell flat in the box office. Now, the actor has put that behind, and has moved on to his next movie christened Mission Chapter 1. Actress Amy Jackson will be seen in the female lead part in the drama. Director A L Vijay has directed the movie. Writer A Mahadev has penned the script for the venture. The entertainer which went on floors a while back is now ready for release. The production team has planned to launch the entertainer as a pan South Indian film in languages Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Now, the production house has unveiled the teaser of the drama on social media. Actor Arun Vijay himself has shared the teaser. Taking to his official twitter handle, the actor dropped the teaser of Mission Chapter 1 and wrote, “Here’s the action-packed teaser of my next Mission Chapter 1 Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.” Here is the post made by the actor.

One-minute odd teaser cut opens with a shot of a prison to the voiceover, “Bhai this is Wandsworth prison. It is located in six-mile distance from Central London. People from all parts of the world are in it as prisoners.” We are given a glimpse of the world inside prison. We witness a Death Race sort of scenario inside the prison where inmates are brutally fighting each other. We have the intro of actor Arun Vijay. He is seen performing some fast-paced action movies. Even actress Amy Jackson pulls a stunning action block. Mission Chapter 1 is touted to be an action thriller which has a father daughter relationship at its core. This is the first-time actor Arun Vijay is collaborating with director A L Vijay. While Mission Chapter 1 marks the third time association of actress Amy Jackson and the director after Madrasapattinam, and Thaandavam.
Apart from actors Arun Vijay, and Amy Jackson, Mission Chapter 1 has Malayalam actress Nimisha Sajayan of The Great Indian Kitchen fame making her debut in Tamil cinema. The casting division of the movie has actors Abi Hassan, Bharath Bopanna, Baby Iyal, Viraaj S, and Jason Shah depicting various other supporting roles. Music director G V Prakash Kumar has composed music for the flick. Cinematographer Sanjay K Vijay has been behind the lens for the movie. Editor Anthony has been roped in to edit the project. Art director Saravanan Vasanth has erected sets for the flick. Action director Stunt Silva has choreographed action blocks for the venture. The entertainer is bankrolled by Alliraja Subaskaran under the banner house Lyca Productions along with M Rajashekar and S Swathi for the production company Shri Shiridi Sai Movies.
On the work front, actor Arun Vijay who had his last outing in the crime thriller drama Sinam is currently busy shooting for his next project christened Vanangaan directed by Bala in which he will be seen alongside actress Roshni Prakash, and for Boxer under the direction of film maker Vivek in which he will be sharing screen space with actress Ritika Singh. Apart from these ventures, the actor has Agni Siragugal crafted by director Naveen in which he has co starred with actress Akshara Haasan, and Borrder scripted by storyteller Arivazhagan Venkatachalam in which he has collaborated with actress Regina Cassandra in various stages of post-production shaping up for release. On the other hand, actress Nimisha Sajayan who was last seen on screens in the Malayalam flick Thuramukham will soon begin to shoot for her next project titled Chera directed by story teller Lijin Jose in which she will be co starring with actors Roshan Mathew and Guru Somasundaram. Apart from this project, the actress has a Hindi film We Are helmed by Onir, and an English drama titled Footprints On Water crafted by Nathalia Syam in which she has associated with actor Adil Hussain in the post production stage getting fine-tuned for release.
