Anjali made her debut with the movie Kattradhu Tamil under direction of Ram. She slowly grabbed popularity through Angaadi Theru and later with Sundar.C’s Kalakalappu. The actress grabbed attention only through glamour roles. She even did an item number.
In Singam 2 she made the item number along with Suriya. She even did more glamour roles in Telugu Film industry. Right now she acts in movies like Iraivi, Tharamani, Peranbu, Kaanbadhu Poi and all the movies are character oriented roles. This shows that she has shifted her base to homely roles.
In her upcoming movie Iraivi, Anjali’s roles was given more importance by Karthick Subburaj. The actress has now decided to follow the same path even in Telugu movies. She started to ignore glamour roles or commercial oriented projects. This might be a good sign for her.
