Amala Paul
Amala Paul is an Indian actress and producer who works primarily in Tamil and Malayalam cinema, with appearances in Telugu and Kannada productions. She made her acting debut with Neelathamara in 2009 and gained wider attention through the title role in Mynaa. Her other prominent films include Run Baby Run, Oru Indian Pranayakadha, Velaiyilla Pattathari, Mili, Ratsasan, Aadai and The Goat Life. She has also acted in series such as Pitta Kathalu, Kudi Yedamaithe and Ranjish Hi Sahi.

Amala Paul Bio
Amala Paul began acting in the Malayalam film Neelathamara in 2009, playing Beena. Her early Tamil credits included Veerasekaran and Sindhu Samaveli, followed by the title role in Mynaa in 2010. Her performance in Mynaa earned her the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress.
She continued working across Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu cinema. In 2011, she appeared as Swetha in Deiva Thirumagal and as Geethanjali in Bejawada. Her 2012 releases included Vettai, Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal, Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi and the Malayalam film Run Baby Run.
She received a SIIMA Award for Best Actress in Malayalam for Run Baby Run and another for Oru Indian Pranayakadha, released in 2013. Her subsequent films included Thalaivaa, Velaiyilla Pattathari, Pasanga 2, Amma Kanakku, Hebbuli and Thiruttu Payale 2. She returned as Shalini in Velaiyilla Pattathari 2 in 2017.
In 2018, she played teacher Vijayalakshmi in the crime thriller Ratsasan, and in 2019 she led Aadai as Kamini. Her title role in the 2015 Malayalam film Mili earned her the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress in Malayalam. Paul expanded into series with Pitta Kathalu and Kudi Yedamaithe in 2021.
She later appeared in Ranjish Hi Sahi and Victim. Her film work in the 2020s includes Cadaver, The Teacher, Christopher, Bholaa, The Goat Life and Level Cross. In The Goat Life, released in 2024, she played Sainu.
