For the past few days it has been the talk of Amala Paul’s Aadai in which the actress had reached the pinnacle of boldness. The teaser made many heads not only from South India but also throughout India turn towards Amala Paul because of her nude scene in the few seconds cut and has upped the anticipation level for the intense adult drama. The teaser has already clocked over 6 million views on YouTube and is still adding to the tally quite strongly. The 1 minute 36 seconds teaser edit was able to give us the glimpse of an intense crime drama in the package.

Though, many normal audiences were quick to drag the film in to controversy, many film fraternities from the industry including directors Parthiban, Venkat Prabhu, and actors Atharvaa, Taapsee Pannu, Aishwarya Rajesh, Manjima Mohan, Samantha Akkineni and musician Anirudh Ravichander applauded the actress for her bold attempt. While everyone are busy appreciating the actress for her boldness, director Rathna Kumar took to his twitter account to share a meme video made on the teaser of Aadai. The director shared the meme video under the note, ‘Nowadays there is Vadivelu version for every content. Aadai is not an exception. This is hilarious and I could not resist myself from sharing. Since the movie going to talk about freedom, I respect this ‘Freedom of speech.’ Sorry Amala Paul.’ Sharing the video the director also apologized to the actress. Now even the meme video has garnered a good amount of views.
Meanwhile, there has been one more incident relating to the flick that has made in to news. The teaser had a phone number that was displayed on the mobile phone of actress Amala Paul with ‘Amma calling’ wordings. Now, reportedly many people are ringing up to the number out of curiosity. Many viewers who have watched the teaser has noted down the number and are calling to the number expecting to get what; absolutely no one has any idea about it. Whatever, the adult drama has set up a high expectation level and the first look as well as the teaser has only added to the expectation level. We will have to wait to see whether the adult venture stands up to the anticipation that it created.
Apart from actress Amala Paul, the project has VJ Ramya Subramanian who will be making her silver screen debut through the flick, Adiraj, Vivek Prasanna in various other supporting roles. The adult entertainer is produced by Viji Subramaniyan under the banner V Studios production house. Cinematographer Vijay Karthik Kannan has cranked the camera for the movie while Pradeep Kumar has composed the music for the venture. The motion picture is slated to hit the screens worldwide by the end of July.
