300 screens for ‘Kabali’ in Kerala

Kollywood super star’s ‘Kabali’ movie’s distribution rights have been purchased at Mollywood by Mohanlal’s Max Lab and Ashirvaad Cinema for around eight crores rupees. This is the first time in Mollywood industry that a non Malayalam movie is purchased at a greater cost.

Earlier Vijay’s ‘Theri’ was sold for 5.5 crores and the movie has also hit screens in 150 theatres. Presently the distributors have planned to release the movie at 300 screens in Kerala and as Mohanlal is one among the distributors more importance and ads are made for Kabali.

Sources have stated that the theatre screening rights in Tamilnadu and many states will start from today and the number of theatres which will be ready for screening will be the hot news from now onwards and keep watching for more refreshments. Rajini’s fans are anticipating the release and are eager to watch their star’s movie.
