Kollywood industry’s music director turned actor Vijay Antony’s Saithaan, which was released yesterday (1st December) has opened up well with a positive word of mouth advertisement from the audience. Nada cyclone and demonetization issues have not affected the film’s box office collections.
According to the sources from Chennai box office Saithaan has collected 38.25 Lakhs on its first day, which happens to be a very good start. The film has also has the advantage of performing much better, as there are still three more days for this week to end.
Vijay Antony’s Pichaikaran has turned out to be one of the most successful films of this year, and now, Saithaan has exceeded Pichaikaran in terms of the first day box office collections.
