Harish Kalyan who shot to fame after being part of the second season of the Tamil Bigg Boss show is currently doing some good films back to back and has managed to bring in a good amount of foot falls to the theaters for his films. His films Pyaar Prema Kadhal and Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum received mixed reviews among the critics in the industry but managed to do well in the box office. Now the actor who is busy shooting for his next film Dhanusu Raasi Neyargalae has inked his signature for another film.
The flick will be directed by Krishna Marimuthu of Yuddham Sharanam fame. The yet to be titled film will be the official remake of super hit Bollywood film Vicky Donor, in which Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana would have put on a spectacular performance. In fact it was the film that gave him the recognition as a lead hero in Bollywood. The film had Ayushmann Khurrana in the role of a jobless youngster choosing to become a sperm donor who donates his sperm to families that are unable to reproduce due to infertility issues.
According to sources, Harish Kalyan will portray the role played by Ayushmann Khurrana in the film Vicky Donor. Though it is a remake of the Hindi version the director is said to have made some changes to the script in order to go well with the taste of the Tamil audience. The film is set to be bankrolled by Screenscene Production house. The production unit is currently working to finalize the crew and cast for the film and an official confirmation of the project will be made soon.
After the success of Yuddham Sharanam starring Naga Chaitanya and Lavanya Tripathi in the lead roles, the expectation for director Krishna Marimuthu’s next film is quite high. Actor Harish Kalyan also had a good last outing with Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum turned to do well in the box office, which has further upped the expectations of the film.
On the work front, the actor is busy shooting for his film Dhanusu Raasi Neyargalae directed by Sanjay Bharathi, son of veteran director Santhana Bharathi and a former associate of director A. L. Vijay. Apart from Renuka the film has three heroines in which comedian Munishkanth will be seen in the comical role. Music director Ghibran will be scoring the music for the film. The film is bankrolled by producer Gokulam Gopalan under his home banner Sree Gokulam Movies.
