Model and actor Arav Nafeez was introduced to the Tamil cinema audience through the TV show Bigg Boss. The kissing episode that took place between the actor and fellow contestant Oviya was the talk of the town back then. Especially the term that the actor used to address the incident ‘Maruthuva mutham’ translation ‘Treatment kiss’ turned a lot of attention towards him and in process earned him many female fans in the state. The show not only put him in the limelight but also gave him a huge fan following and ensured to bring couple of projects to his door steps. Now the actor has wrapped up one of the projects which is titled as Market Raja MBBS and is gearing up for the release of the film.
The venture which marks the debut of actor Arav in Kollywood is expected to hit the screens soon. The production house recently launched the audio and trailer of the flick in the grandly held audio launch event which took place in Chennai. The trailer was later unveiled on social media. The few seconds cut give us the glimpse of the mass action side of actor Arav as well as the attention grabbing character played by actress Radhikaa Sarath Kumar. The veteran actress is seen in a never seen before avatar in her entire career. The actress totally grabs our attention towards her with her role which has her riding motorbikes, wearing large sunglasses, and smoking cigar in her own style. We get to see a glimpse of what sort of badass character she is in the movie. Actress Radhikaa Sarath Kumar was undeniably the show stealer in the few seconds cut.
From the trailer we are able to sense that the drama is going to be an out and out masala action entertainer. The teaser has Arav in two different avatars. While in one getup as a powerful local don the actor trashes henchmen, in other he is possessed by the ghost of a doctor. The venture is scripted and helmed by story teller Saran of Vaasul Raja MBBS fame. Actress Kavya Thapar will be romancing actor Arav in the flick. Apart from actors Radhikaa Sarath Kumar, Arav and Kavya Thapar, the casting department of the entertainer has Nikisha Patel, Hareesh Peradi, Adithya Menon, Chaams, Shayaji Shinde, Pradeep Rawat, Rohini, Nassar, Vihaan, and Yogi Babu depicting various other pivotal roles.
The motion picture is produced by S Mohan under the banner Surabi Films. The musical department of the drama is handled by Simon K King. Cinematographer K. V. Guhan has been behind the lens for the entertainer, while editor Gopi Krishna has trimmed the action drama. Both Arav and director Saran is said to have high hopes on the film as Arav is looking forward to kick start his career with a bang and Saran is expecting to reboot his career. We will have to wait to see whether the flick has anything fresh to offer to the audience as potboiler action masala movies are not having a good reception among the Tamil audience in recent times.
On the professional front, the actor is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film Meendum Vaa Arugil Vaa. Apart from this movie the actor has Raja Bheema helmed by Naresh Sampath getting shaped up in post production.
