Actor Vijay Sethupathi, the multi talented artist of Tamil cinema is expanding his boundaries from Kollywood to the neighborhood states as well. The actor recently made his debut in Mollywood through Marconi Mathai alongside veteran actor Jayaram. He will also be making his debut in Tollywood this year with the historical drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy co starring with veteran actor Chirenjeevi. The actor is mountaineering from a lead Tamil hero to the stature of a leading South Indian cinema star. The actor who was last seen on screens in the action entertainer Sindhubaadh is gearing up for the release of his next project titled as Sanga Thamizhan. Now the production unit has unveiled the teaser of the flick on social media.
The teaser promises to be high on action and has the actor in a supreme mass getup. He mouths a punch dialogue and gets mass angle coverage throughout the teaser in which he comes around in a jeep. There is also a stylish sequence where he meddles with his goggles just like thalaivar Ranjinikanth which for sure is to send chills on the fans of the actor. The teaser ends with the actor placing an iron duct rolled with trellis material in style. The mass action entertainer is set to hit the screens under the directorial of director Vijay Chander of sketch fame. And according to sources the production unit has plans to release the movie on 2nd of October this year. This is a great news for the fans of the actor as they might be able to catch the drama on the first day of its release as 2nd of October is the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, which is a national holiday.
In addition to that the fans of the actor are in for a double treat as they will get to witness actor Vijay Sethupathi in dual roles in the film. One more delight is that the movie will have Vijay Sethupathi’s daughter Sreeja, making her debut after her brother Surya who made his debut in Sindhubaadh. The huge expectation created by the first look poster of the venture is further upped by the teaser.
The drama is said to be a complete mass action family entertainer in which actresses Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Pethuraj will be romancing actor Vijay Sethupathi. Apart from them the casting unit of the venture also has Nassar, Sriman, Ashutosh Rana, John Vijay and Soori in various other supporting roles. The music for the entertainer will be composed by the musical duo Vivek and Mervin of Gulaebaghavali fame. While R. Velraj has been seen behind the camera for the drama, K. L. Praveen will be editing the family entertainer. The motion picture is bankrolled by Bharathi Reddy under the banner Vijaya Productions.
On the Professional front, the actor is currently busy shooting for S. P. Jananathan’s social drama Laabam with actress Shruthi Hassan and also for Kadaisi Vivasayi under the directorial of story teller M. Manikandan. Besides these projects the actor has Maamanithan, Idam Porul Yaeval in Tamil and Uppena in Telugu.
