Adhithya Venkatapathy garnered the attention of music lovers through his independent album Hip Hop Thamizhan. In particular, the song club le Mabbu le helped the musician to turn the attention of the audience towards him. After which he shortly set foot in Kollywood as a music director through the movie Aambala directed by Sundar C, all numbers that were in the music album of the movie had a good response among the youngsters in the state. Following the success of the film, to everyone’s surprise the musician turned actor through Meesaya Murukku bankrolled by director Sunder C which unexpectedly went on to become a super hit film. Following which the actor delivered another hit film Natpe Thunai again bankrolled by director Sunder C.
Now we have an interesting news about the actor’s next project. The actor is set to team up with director Sunder C again for the third time. After the back to back success of Meesaya Murukku and Natpe Thunai, the actor and producer duo will again be teaming up for a venture for the third time in a row. The actor and musician himself has publicized the news on social media. Taking to his Instagram account the actor shared a picture of himself with his producer Sundar C along with the announcement, ‘We hit two in a row and we are gearing up for a hatrick now for hht3 once again.’
According to a source close to the unit, “The venture is set to be directed by new comer Raana. He has worked as an associate director of big budget film maker Shankar. Currently, paper works for the flick is happening in full swing. Once the paper works are done the movie will go on floors under the working title hht3. Like Adhi’s previous ventures even this flick will be a youthful entertainer which would be aimed at the young crowd. Iswarya Menon of Tamizh Padam 2 fame will be playing the female lead role in the entertainer.” We will have to wait to see whether the third project produces the same success just like their first two ventures.
This year was a great start to Hip Hop Aadhi as he has already had three releases this year in the likes of Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven, Natpe Thunai and the Sivakarthikeyan’s Mr. Local. Almost all songs from these ventures have become chartbuster hits of the year. Apart from these projects, the musician also has impressed the music lovers in the state with a single that was released from his yet to be released romantic drama Comali which has Jayam Ravi and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles, that is slated to hit the screens very soon.
