Recently, actor Arya wrapped up the shooting of his film Magamuni which was underway under the directorial of Mounaguru fame director Santha Kumar. The film is currently in the post production stage and actor Arya has launched the teaser of the film on his social media account. Actor Arya looks intimidating in his hit man role. Unlike any of the roles that he has portrayed in his career, the actor looks fuming triggered out of pain and loss, almost throughout the teaser. The teaser of the crime thriller film has definitely got everyone excited about the film.
The actor recites a philosophical dialogue, “Every man’s deeds decide the destiny of what the next generation is going to shoulder” which must have got the attention of the viewers for sure. The teaser is action packed, filled with more bloodshed and is in an extreme violent tone. From what we could comprehend, an unpleasant event that happens in the life of the actor seems to have derailed his entire journey and sets him to seek for revenge against some powerful political men. The background score for the film by S. Thaman has really contributed to further intensify the intensity of the script which is evident in the teaser.
Director Santha Kumar received critical acclamation for his previous film Mounaguru that hit the screens a long time ago starring Arulnithi Tamilarasu and Iniya. The film was even remade in Bollywood as Akira starring Sonakshi Sinha and directed by controversial director A. R. Murugadoss but the script was penned by Santha Kumar. The director who was on break after Akira took his own time to craft a script that would be gripping enough to put the audience at the edge of their seats. The teaser of the film that recently hit the internet only confirms that fact.
Actor Arya who married Sayyeshaa his co star of his last film Gajinikanth directed by Santhosh is desperately in need of a hit film. The teaser of Magamuni promises to be the hit that Arya was looking for all this long. We will have to wait to see whether the film brings the actor back to the profitable zone. Apart from actor Arya, the film has actresses Indhuja Ravichandran and Mahima Nambiar in the female lead roles, while actors Kaali Venkat, Jayaprakash, Aruldoss, and GM Sundar will be seen in various supporting roles.
The film is bankrolled by K. E. Gnanavel Raja under his banner Studio Green. While Arun Bathmanaban will be cranking the camera for the film, V. J. Sabu Joseph will be handling the editing department. The film is expected to hit the screens in the month of July.
On the work front, the actor is gearing up for the release of his multi starrer film Kaappan in which the actor has shared the screen space with actors Surya and Mollywood Super star Mohanlal.
