Ratsasan remake gets an interesting addition in casting

The film that set the box office on fire last year is set to be remade in Telugu. After being shot for nearly more than two long years, the movie hit the screens after a numerous delays. But the hard work of the team was very well paid off, the film had an amazing reception among the movie lovers as well as general and many good reviews were given by the movie buzz through the country. Directed by Mundasupatti fame Ram Kumar, the film was applauded for its engaging and thrilling screenplay. The movie attained the second position in IMDB top movies of the year 2018.

The success of the movie turned many heads towards bagging the rights of the movie. And now the movie is set to be remade in Telugu and will hit the screens under the directorial of Ramesh Varma. It was announced that Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas will be playing the lead role played by Vishnu Vishal in the original and the female lead will be played by Premam fame Anupama Parameswaran. Amala Paul played the female lead in the Tamil version of the movie. Just the announcement of the casting has raised the expectation of the movie in the Telugu film industry.

Now, the casting unit has revealed that actress Ammu Abhirami will be joining the team and will play the role of the protagonist’s niece. It is to be noted that the actress also played the same character in the original version of the film. Now she will be joining the Telugu version of the film to do the same role. The actress took to her twitter handle to share her casting in the Telugu version of the movie. The actress shared a picture of her with director Ram Kumar and thanked him for offering her the role initially.

The pretty actress has also made her appearance in couple of other Tamil movies other than the Block Buster Ratsasan. The actress was seen in the movie Thuppaki Munai, and Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru. The actress is very much delighted to make her debut in the Tollywood industry and remains quite optimistic that the Telugu version of the film will attain twice the success of that of the original version by keeping the box office rolling. We will have to wait to see how the optimism of the actress bores fruit for her.
