Kajal Agarwal, who was last seen in Kollywood in the Vijay starrer mega hit film ‘Mersal’, had been focusing on Telugu film industry, where she had movies like ‘Awe’, ‘Kavacham’, and ‘MLA’ in 2018, with only ‘Awe’ being a commercial hit film. Now, Kajal Agarwal is all set to be seen in Kollywood soon, with her next biggie ‘Paris Paris’.
‘Paris Paris’ is directed by Ramesh Aravind and is the Tamil remake of 2014 Bollywood blockbuster film ‘Queen’ that had Kangana Ranaut as the female lead. Also, Kangana Ranaut won national award for the best actress for this movie. The film is being remade simultaneously in 3 other languages: ‘Zam Zam’ in Malayalam with Manjima Mohan; ‘That is Mahalakshmi’ in Telugu with Tamanna; and ‘Butterfly’ in Kannada with Parul Yadav.
The teasers of all the four films were released last month, which met with an amazing response, and especially, the Tamil teaser had become a super hit, and was trending as the most viewed teaser on YouTube. The teaser of ‘Paris Paris’ has now reached a massive 7.2 million views, crowning it as the most viewed trailer among Tamil films, beating the 6 million views record held by Nayantara’s 2018 hit film ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’.
