On April 10th at Kollam. Puttingal Devi Temple. a massive fireworks accident has taken place and more than 100 people died and 400 people were injured in the incident. Central government are rendering many services to the most affected areas.
From celebrity side, the first person to give contribution was Super star Mammootty. Mammootty was a partner of Pathanjali Ayurvedic Hospital where they are producing medicines especially for the burns which is caused by fire. When the actor heard about the incident, he made arrangements to send the available medicines to Kollam. He also made further arrangements to treat the patients.
He also said he will pray for the quick recovery of injured people. When such type of fire accident has happened at Sivakasi, in Tamilnadu, the actor sent medicines worth 20 Lakhs at free of cost for the affected people. Indeed a great gesture!
