Trisha has appreciated her close friend and Tharai Thappattai’s heroine Varalaxmi for her performance in the film. Tharai Thappattai was directed by Bala and it was released all around Tamil Nadu on 14th January.
“Darling Varoo, had I not loved you enough, I would have felt envious of your performance in Tharai Thappattai. Your selfless portrayal of the character has really made me proud!” said Trisha.
It was a 1000th film of composition for Music Maestro Ilaiyaraaja, Tharai Thappattai got ‘A’ certificate and it bars school and some college students from watching the fim. It ranks second after Rajini Murugan in theatrical collections, beating Vishal’s Kathakali and Udhayanidhi’s Gethu. Superstar Rajinikanth was also appreciated Varalaxmi recently for her performance.
