Bruce Lee is an action comedy movie which is written and directed by Prashanth Pandiraj. The movie was produced by J Selvakumar, P Ravichandran and Vittal Kumar on behalf of Kenanya Films and PK Film Factory. The movie features GV Prakash, Kriti Kharbhanda in leading roles. Actors like Naan Kadavul Rajendran, Bala Saravanan, ‘Mundasupatti’ Ramdoss, Anandraj and Mansoor Ali Khan have acted in supporting roles in the movie.
The cinematography work was made by PC Shankar and the editing part was played by Pradeep Raghav and G Manoj Gyann. The movie was distributed by Linga Bhairavi Creations throughout the state.
The music was composed by GV Prakash himself and the music composition is good. The song Sugar Mintu Kaari had touched hearts of music lovers to a greater extent. The movie was planned to hit screens for Pongal and as Vijay’s Bairavaa was released the actor had decided not to run for the race with Vijay.
The story is about how the hero lands in trouble for no fault of his, and faces the challenges thrown at him. The film is filled with light-hearted moments with minimal action sequences. GV Prakash and his friend runs away with their lovers after getting into a situation and the story is how GV Prakash saves them all.
The comedy track was made well and the actors have done justice to their roles. Kriti Kharbhanda’s entry in the movie is a great start and she had acted superbly and had proved herself. The actor’s action scenes are made well by GV Prakash. The movie can be watched only once as it is an usual story.
The movie can be given two stars out of five for its work. Actors have acted well and the story is an usual one. GV Prakash had tried a lot to prove himself, but his acting style will not be liked by all.
Overall, GVP fails big time with this Bruce Lee!
